Historic Adaptive Reuse - Dothan, AL
Established in May of 2020, the historic Howell School, established 1904 in Dothan, Alabama, was transformed into Howell School Apartments, offering 55 senior housing units with modern amenities and accessible features. The project exemplifies public-private collaboration through various local and federal support.
Capstone at Barton Chapel
Section 8 Preservation - Augusta, GA
Capstone at Barton Chapel, formerly known as Trinity Manor Apartments, is a 100-unit multi-family property in Augusta, Georgia, originally constructed in 1975. The property underwent extensive rehabilitation and a name change in January 2022, modernizing both the interior and exterior and adding community and safety improvements. New amenities include a playground, fitness center, computer lab, community room, on-site laundromat, pavilion, free Wi-Fi, and basic cable, along with the construction of 20 fully subsidized units for qualifying families.
Capstone at Scotlandville
New Construction, Section 8 Preservation - Baton Rouge, LA
In December 2021, Capstone at Scotlandville began a $24.3 million rehabilitation of Elm Grove Garden Apartments, adding new amenities and creating 84 fully subsidized units in partnership with Partners Southeast and the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority. The project was completed in June 2023, transforming the property into a secure and vibrant community.
